Does anyone know where I can find a heat shield that will fit good over a short ram air intake that is positioned behind the battery, about where the OEM air box is? I see a couple people with pics of them on their cars, but I can't find them anywhere. Are these being custom made? I'd love a carbon fiber one, if anyone is into custom making that kinda thing.

Could you just wrap it or is that just for CAI's?

My intake came with a heat sheild. Try INJEN. Thats who makes my intake. im sure if they sent it. They sell it!

The type of 'heat shield' you're talking about is wortheless for performance. To see any gains from a shortram, you have to build an entire airbox around the filter, insulate it, and supply it with outside air somehow.
