TRD Strut Bar - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #11859 15 posts Started by Chrobis
Well I was browsing TRD USA's website, as I have done a million times before, and in the parts for celica's the Sway Bar is there. As far as I can remember it was not there in previous visits, meaning they have possibly brought it back in to production.

I saw the strut bar but its only for 2000-2004. Does TRD only make new stuff or do they have a hidden page for the 6th gen?
did you just search Celica?
it's towards the bottom, because for some reason they are in a weird order.
ok what is the diffrenet between the TRD bar and the OEM toyota one?

[TeamNJCT
the OEM on the GT4 does not connect the struts to eachother directly, but rather via-firewall.

a normal bar only connects the struts.

the TRD is a Tri-pt and connects both struts to eachother and both to the firewall, and SHOULD be thicker than a stock piece, but im not sure about that
Is the TRD bar the way to go? Anything that's cheaper that works just as well?
It's just a matter of preference. Check out DG_Perfomance's profile. He's custom made strut bars for GT's and ST's. Quality is pretty much the same vs. TRD, Custco, etc.

For the high prices, you're usually paying for the name. That's the gimic...usually.

If I'm wrong...please correct me. >smile.gif>
