Box building... - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #10459 13 posts Started by DmVinny
Normally when I build a subwoofer box I draw it on paper, but the enclosure I have planned is a bit more complex.. Anyone recommend a good 3d program or similiar...?

I dont need calculators... btw.
I dont think it does 3d images, im leaning more towards the 3dsmax look, since my the idea behind my box is more complicated than a plain square box etc.
I have made a model of the Celica rear end in 3dsmax just for this purpose. I just need to adjust it so that the measurements are correct and it should be pretty nice for designing boxes. If you have 3dsmax I can send it to you

or

I could help you design it if you have some rough scetches and MSN for instance ?
Hey man, yeah if you have a nice sketch of the trunk in 3dsmax i'd like to have it

=)
It just needs to be adjusted so that the measurements coencide with the actual trunk

The objects are more or less precise when it comes to shape, but my celica is in the shop having its top worked on, so i havent been able to take any measurements.

This is a 96 Celica trunk done in 3D Studio Max 5
You can download the file at: http://www.gunstig.org/celica96/celica_trunk.max

I'll post some updates as I get the measurements etc.
