That is odd, when i took the extra padding off all i had under it was a block of wood, litteraly, there was a block of wood under about 1 inch of padding, pink cloth, and the black lether. Did i get jiped? dosent really matter since i'm doing all my dash peaces in fiberglass including the arm rest >> but would have been nice to have.

i had the big padded one it was deffffff more comfortable and lifted my arm to a pefrect position to the shifter how ever

now i have a trd short shifter and my new flat armrest (which i got from my local toyota dealer for 50 bucks)lines up better with with the shift knob but i would have to say for everyday drving on a non-shortshifted assembly the padded one is much much more comfortable

Is it just me or are those pictures not working? I'd like to see the padded one, because mine workds just fine. I have an automatic, but i keep my hand rested on the shifter (I must have some kind of instinct going on) and the armrest I have now doesn't get in the way of that at all.

padded ones kick ass, but mine is all torn up... i got the leather one, but now that you mentioned it , it might be vynil... the padded one, well its padded and very very comfortable compared tot he unpadded one, which just feels hard... and is not the same hight as the left hand rest (as far as i remember)
