i have the american model 2.2 5sfe GT. i know it is marked 5w 30 on the oil cap but in 1997 i do not think 0w 40 was invented. I also used oil additiv with ceramic particles but i do not use it anymor...

in the winter we get down to -20C and during the summer up to +40C.for the past 3 months i could notice a decrease in petrol consumption like 1%-2% and the big difference is that my celica is not burn...

could you tell me what oil do you use for your engines?i use 0w-40 castrol edge now and it works great but should i use something else?
