go to an exhaust shop and get ur exhaust pipe weld prob has crack or have a hole in it.
would that cause the rpm surge?

When i drove my car today i heard the exhaust pop and now my rpms surge up and down. it acts like its going to shut off but it doesnt. it just drops down to 200 or 300 rpms and shoots back to 1000rpms...
