I had to remove the caliper replacing the front pads on mine.... but the rear swung up like Mstoochn said.
Thinking about it maybe I just didn't realise while doing the front!

Also be aware that driveshafts with ABS differ from non ABS (there is a ribbed spline on the abs one which the feeds the ABS sensor)

Hey cyprus gt, the 3sge driveshafts differ to both the 2.2 and 1.8. I own a jap ss11 3sge and had to replace a driveshaft due to two ripped boots leading to contaminated c.v joints.
