I have heard that you can use the gt4 trany and make it fwd by removing the rear output shaft and making an cover to seal it up is this recomended?

I can't seem to get the "Light Bulb" bypass circit to work properly. My car is in low boost mode code 54. I have the wiring diagram for tricking the ecu, but Mine doesn't seem to be working corectly...
