I don't know if I have an amp, I guess I need to pull my center console out to check. It's an option I've considered, but it has a few problems. Namely, I can't adjust the volume, bass, treble, etc ...

I got this info from a technician at Toyota of Plano.
1) Make sure the red LED button is sticking out
2) Put the key in the door's keyhole
3) Twist the key to Lock, then to Unlock, then to Lock, then ...
