Actually after listening to it again, I think it is coming from under the timing cover. Probably need a new tensioner.

Yes, it is true that you can easily damage the wires when pulling them, but that is why I use a boot puller. I took a few minutes to clean up the old plugs, regap and reinstall them and it runs great ...
