Actually its a replica of a 404a lip by Erebuni which is a replica of the Way Glide Type 3 lip by Gangs-Jail Japan.

yep you are correct, aluminum rear top mounts.
don't think its a wheel bearing, that's more of a whirring noise. this sounds like a mouse or chipmunk.

the sideskirts are the same for all years.
its the front lips that are different, the 404 is for 94-95, the 404a is for 96-99.
just know that the side skirts have crappy fitment, you will have to heat...
