I understand, the plastic that lights up all numbers. Maybe its possible but I wouldn't remove needles. Instead I will run 3 extra leds to the area that doesn't have enough light.

It works now. I just tried to swap ss3 gauges over to st204 cluster and it works perfect. Idle reading is the way it should be. The only thing that needs to be done is to run 2-3 LEDs for better illum...

no no no, what I meant is to take triangles from st204 and install them into ss3 cluster. In this case I would have cruise sign. Also ss3 cluster has black triangles as all others celicas.
