DIY, shouldnt be more than 3-1K, just a estimate. It depends on where you buy the parts from, and what parts, and if you have the right tools. I dont think it would cost 1K tho unless you needed tools...

All I have to say is goodluck, risk isnt worth reward. I think it would be cheaper to do AWD instead of RWD. But anything is possible with the right kind of money.

Sold the HKS for 800 bucks to a local guy, ordered a Garrett GT2871R. Its about 2 sizes bigger than this one and the disco potato. good for about 450 maybe a bit more.
