i would not do this, this is illegal, insurance company won't pay for crash and if you get caught with a loud exhaust, you ll not pass inspection when they'll see that

there is so many heathshields (5 or 6) starting from the ct20b down to the b-pipe on a REV 3 engine, this is what makes a big job in installing a downpipe. I would check for these, or very very often ...
