It's not going to directly mount into the non projector housings. The housings are completely different, so you'll have to find a way to custom mount everything, but I don't see why it can't be done....

It would depend on how much of the housing is broken. Usually when the housing is badly damaged, the tabs have already broken off. Have any of the tabs broken off yet?
