I used a plastic putty knife to scrape off as much as possible w/o damaging the paint. Then used goof off to get the rest off.

I have a friend who has had them on for over a year and he has not had a problem. They ride well and he likes them. I would just suggest putting loctite on the bolts.

Yes, use the $10 bottle it works great but idk where you live but I know that you can get it much cheaper, I just bought 2 bottles at $3.49/bottle. They were on closeout at a Sears Hardware store.

If you take apart your turn signal, you can just unscrew the amper lense that is inside. Just make sure not to break anything while your taking it apart.
