Its probably something very wrong or very insignificant. That's OBD-1 for you..But that noise your saying.. that's not a good sign at all..

I think that is only fender/plastic wheel well damage and some of the place you screw in your bumper. It was pulled forward so your wheel rubs againts it.. There's not way your suspension is damage if...
