when the engine is cold it's perfectly normal! the ECU for the 1st 90 seconds keep the engine rpms at about 1500, then, when engine is warm gradually go around 700800 RPMs

Yes, the SAFC2 let you to change RPMs in 200 increments and allow 12 instead of 8 settings

why u run settings till 8K RPMs if you have just 6.5K Rpms??
I think that with thos setting you're still running too rich.
I'll post mine in a few hours to compare with yours
