If it will shift with the engine off it's the clutch.
If it's still stuck with the engine off it's not the clutch.
Try removing the shift cables and whacking the shift levers.
I may make it, just star...

Don't bother replacing it, just clean it out with brake cleaner.
The trans filter is just a metal mesh screen.

Check Engine light on?
Any codes in the history?
Autozone does free code checks.

It might just be that your not smooth enough on the transition from clutch to gas.
If you "jolt" the engine instead of smoothly engaging it will run weak for a second before it catches back up.

Engine Not Getting Fuel - 6G Celicas Forums

If your not getting fuel or spark check your distributor.
Not the cap/rotor, you need to look at the RPM sensor [4 wire connector].
If the ECU doesn't get an RPM signal from the distributor it won't t...

Has anyone done a input shaft bearing replacement? - 6G Celicas Forums

You've got to take the whole transmission apart.
IIRC you need to remove all the gears/bearings on the input shaft, I wouldn't recommend doing this yourself.
You should replace both bearings on the sh...

P0401 and P0420?
Your EGR valve and cat are probably bad.
Replace them.
The codes are unrelated, unless a wiring harness is damaged somewhere.
But that still wouldn't give you P0420.

If someone is going to do an AWD swap, this is the "set" to buy, that's a pretty good price and should include just about everything you need.

As long as the head isn't warped you don't necessarily need to send it to a machine shop.
It all depends on the condition of the head.
You do want to replace the head bolts though.

Usually the AC light flashing means the ECU isn't getting an RPM signal from the compressor.
Leaving the amplifier unplugged could definitely cause that.
However, if the compressor is kicking on and y...

Probably not, unless you've changed something in the valvetrain.
The shims wear very little, even engines with 200K+ don't tend to be out of adjustment.
Adjustment is usually required when you change ...

Slave or master cylinder.
Check both for fluid around them.
Master will be inside the car by the top of the pedal, slave will be dripping underneath itself.

Most likely there's a problem with the clock spring [wiring that allows the wheel to turn], or a connector for said wiring.
They're both on the steering column behind the steering wheel.

I think you should separate all 4 runners and make a flange for each of them.
This way you can run 4 turbos = 4X the boost.
Can't beat that.
