no cutting required, you can route the piping under the fusebox. there is plenty of room there.
personally i would clock the turbo down so the piping does not have to go over the manifold.

yes FC non turbo injectors are 460cc. i ran them when i turboed my 5S. but you answered your own question. you can get a 3rd gen for 2500 and you can get a 4th gen for about 1300

sounds like you have a short somewhere in the wiring and after running it gets shorted. however you havent mentioned any any blown fuses so its not a power short, maybe a signal short.
