a buddy of mine owns a stereo shop and i think stinger makes a higher amperage alternator for the 5s engine. Unfortunately none for the 7a.

call me old fashioned but i always thought chrome added the most horse power at least 10hp for every ounce in the engine bay. Oh wait my bad i think that rule only applies to V8's

depending on how much power you are using you may also want to consider upgrading the grounds (chassis and transmission) from your battery, you can otherwise prematurely kill the battery.
