3" Turbo back exhaust. 3" Is the best way to go. sounds the best + no back pressure. Make sure you get a decent muffler also.

When I replaced my tranny I had the same worries but its only going to get two of those of the three. Next time go for a e153 tranny off of a mr2 turbo or a v6 camry 5 speed.
