usually when the light goes on that means there is a problem with the ABS unit
wait for your car to dry off then take a spin..... if it doesnt light up then i wouldnt worry too much about it.

just take the starter off.... open her up and get the brushes replaced
chances are thats all that needs to be done... it will cost you $15

mine started spraying grease all over the place cause the boot had split open.... we cut the boot off and inspected the grease and joint and there was no dirt....so we bought a "split boot" re-greased...
