Do what I've done and move the speedo needle to read a couple of mph faster.

No problem.only thing you need are 1/8" thick rings to fit the hub mount as the centre bore is larger.

that's why you should always disconect the battery and alternator. It's probably blown the diode pack.

It's probably big end bearings worn,connect an oil pressure gauge and see what the idle pressure is.

If the bearing was so badly worn then the ABS could be affected as the distance between the sensor and the reluctor ring would vary, hence giving an abnormal reading.
