12V --- R1 --- R1 --- Ground
Let R1 equal a resistive value. Say 1 Ohm. The wire between R1 and R1 is then at 6V (12V/2 Ohms = 6 Amps......

Most notably... The engine is in pieces on my friends garage floor, and some idiot did a horrendous paint job with yellow paint.
