I used a DA to strip it, and the scratches werent deep at all, just from rubbing on metal the sand paper sort of darkened it.
As for the color, it doesnt look black in the pics because of the lighting...

If I am not mistaken, the vert's body style is exactly that of the coupe, and yes there are some spoilers out there. They make a TRD wing, a supra style spoiler, and some others I believe.

60 grit is pretty rough, if you just had a sanding block it should suffice and get it done quick enough...plus, you should have some muscle in one of those hands
