Fair enough. That sounds like a good plan. I'd still say they're 4ohm a piece wired parallel internally. Let us know how they go and ask if you've got any more questions.

If you wire 2 2ohm subs in parallel you will get a 1ohm impedence. Not alot of amps are stable at that but put out lots of power. That Kicker amp would be pushing over 1000watts rms but not for long. ...
