to make the shift cables work, you don't have to extend them.
You can't mount the shift cables where they originally mounted on the MR2 tranny cause it doesnt reach, so what you do is get the bracket...

I have the Proxes 4 too. Good tires if you ask me.
If you're gonna get the T1S, be prepared to spend a pretty penny.
