My R-F Fanatic Series Component 6.5"s fit just fine. You just can't use 1 screw and it doesn't cause any rattles or anything. Don't worry so much about this. It will work.

Did you figure out what caused it to blow? Sometimes I think the fuses just get old. I've even had a few that did not appear blown but would not check for continuity and the circuit worked ...

Nah - it's the radio fuse. Mine did this the other day. Those are the exact things on that fuse. It's a 15amp. Question is - what made it pop?
