if you dont have enough vac to get good brakes, then you still have very serious air leak issues, or some other issue.
even guys running massive cams, dont report issues with braking like your having....

thats cool, didnt know the 3m made that much more power than the 1m.
i dunno, im still convinced that the 3rd gen swap is the best bang for your buck, even if it is more money up front.

v6 is nothing like a beams, so comparing the 2 powerbands is kinda silly IMO.

the 7a flange is totally diffrent from the "s" series engines.
i would imagine by the time you get it to where it would fit, you could prolly just custom build your own, or have one made.

you will have to use the harness, ecu, and all accessories from the older motor. basicly everything with a sensor on it on the OBDI motor will be transfered to the newer motor.
