Well, just to make sure that everything else was good I removed the oil pan (flex pipe, front motor mount, stiffener plate, crossmember bits, etc) in about 45 min...getting pretty good at this process...

They are "L" hooks, youll notice holes where they fit into. The only thing thats threaded is the end of the rod (holes on tie down) for some nuts to help keep tension.
