The 3SGTE is dead with updates, just like the 2JZGTE, 7MGTE, 1GGTE, and many performance oriented engines.. Why would Toyota update an engine they will not produce in their line up cars?

4G63 has been updated many times. The 3SGTE hasn't been updated in years. Technology has alot to do with engines now and how much power they make.
