when I had th s series trans in my car highway driving was terrible. its geared so low. In my e153 which has taller gears I can hit 3rd gear at 7500 rpms around 100mph.

Try mr2oc.com. Alot of guys buy jdm clips with 40k on them put a few thousand miles on there cars and go for big turbos and sell the stock ct26. A decent ct26 with not a lot of play goes for around 2...

just buy a ct26 from mr2/alltrac. No need to get fancy if your a turbo newb. Make it work and see what adjustments you want to make from there.
