7afte and emanage - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #59467 9 posts Started by FunkySR
Hey all.

I have finally got hold of a GReddy Emanage blue and ignition harness for my 1998 7AFTE.

I need some help with this please.

1. I am running a 3SGTE MAP sensor. Do I need to get another one to play with boost settings on emanage?

2. I have the lime green Supra injectors. How do you set these up on emanage?

3. Do I need ignition harness as well...or can I do this at a later stage?

4. All important....is there a how to on the wiring? I currently have SAFC2.

Cheers in advance.

Jay.
wat kinda power are u looking to push???

BANNED. for life, you moron.
hey dude. I'm currently pushing 165 whp (at wheels) and 172 lbs ft (at wheels) at 0.5 bar.

I'd be happy with about 180 whp but ultimately I just want smoother control and better part throttle performance.
can u show me a parts list of wat u have, like turbo size, injector size, fuel pump and watnot

BANNED. for life, you moron.
T25 Turbo, FMIC, Supra Lime Green Injectors, Walbro 255 lph fuel pump, adjustable FPR, HALO plugs, NGK wires, 2.5 inch exhaust system.

Hope this helps.

Jason.
well normally u dont get an emanage until ur attempting 200 hp with a t3 turbo but w,e,i think that MAP is fine

I'm running the Blue on my 7A-FE and you only use two wires out of the whole bunch in the ignition harness. The $35 I spent on the harness was wasted. You definately need the boost sensor for the eManage along with the boost sensor harness to tune based on boost. I bought a non-GReddy boost sensor that has the integrated harness on eBay. It was about $80, versus the $130+ on the GReddy ones. That's great savings. It works perfect. I bought a 3S-GTE sensor and my car would pull timing with it and run rough. In my confusion, I sold it for the same I bought it ($120 shipped) and now I need it. It's a MAP sensor voltage issue. I'm not sure how to explain it, but we know how to correct it. Anyway, I installed the piggyback with a friend of mine. It was too easy. I also installed OEM Evo IX 560cc injectors along with resistors I bought in Radio Shack. Those injectors are very sought after around here. I got them for my Blitz Dual SBC Spec-S, since I bought an MBC for simplicity purposes. I was asking $150 for it. Thanks to Steph for providing me with the wiring diagrams. I needed them that same day, and in less than an hour of writing her, she sent them to me. It if wasn't for those, I wouldn't have been able to accomplish anything. smile.gif

thanks./

How come you didnt use the full ignition harness? also what are the stock 7a injector sizes. Finally, can't I tap into the 3 pin harness with the signal from the 3SGTE MAP sensor? I dont really want to buy the pressure sensor if i can help it.
